Hemel Hempstead Bowls Club is an outdoor flat green bowls club attractively located on the edge of Gadebridge Park next to the Old High Street in Hemel Hempstead.

We are a friendly club with an integrated male and female membership. The playing season is May to September, with other social activities, including bridge, throughout the year.

The club plays matches against other local clubs, which are either friendly, league, or cup fixtures in ladies, men’s and mixed teams.

Members also participate in county and district matches, and we hold internal club competitions during the season.

Play bowls!

Are you interested in getting involved in a fun and healthy sport? We welcome new members of any age, whether you are new to bowls or an experienced bowler looking to join a new club.

Each year we hold an Open day, and also offer other opportunities to try bowling for new prospective members.
